Sinopse
There is not a single person in the world who have chosen the place to be born. Sometimes it only takes an outstretched arm to cross a border. But what is the purpose of a border?
A sequence of images regarding the immigrants’ landing in Italy, this short film by Teresa Villaverde is the portuguese contribution for the collective film “Visions of Europe”, a film that celebrates the creation of the European Union.
A poesia sabe fazer parar o tempo, o cinema tenta”, escreveu Teresa Villaverde.
Ana lives in a small village near the sea, with her husband and daughter. The husband leaves for a couple of days and Ana tries to focus on finishing a project. However, her daily ramblings through the village and the beach threaten her concentration. “This film is about someone who needed time to stop. Poetry knows how to stop time, cinema tries”, Teresa Villaverde wrote.
