In the intimate theatre of pain, Filomena is an actress, a mirror and a relic. She collects masks like someone who collects ghosts. Each one holds a trace, a memory that refuses to go away. As she absorbs the torment, her body begins to give way, the boundary between reality and nightmare dissolves. In the house, in the shadows, in the pain that haunts her, Filomena listens, until she disappears into them.

Esta é a terceira curta-metragem da realizadora a ser exibida no Fantasporto. “Corça” está este ano a concurso na competição Fantasporto para Melhor Filme Português.
Stories of childhood, the relationship with her father. A girl who listens to her father reading her tales of terror. To grow up and see that, after all, they were not so terrifying. This is the director’s third short to be screened in Fantasporto. Her film“Corça” is in competition in the Portuguese Fil Awards section.

A exibição deste filme de 2025 no Fantasporto é uma homenagem a Carlos Augusto, director de fotografia, recentemente falecido. Luís Moya venceu já o Prémio do Cinema Português com “Mia Mia Tamam Tamam” em 2013 e teve uma Menção do Juri Internacional e Prémio do Público com “Por Detrás da Moeda” em 2020, posteriormente premiado no Trujillo Independent Film Festival e no L’Age D’Or International Arthouse Film Festival. “Som da Alma” venceu o Prémio de Melhor Documentário e Melhor Argumento no Festival de Arouca.
Over 100 faces make this film a hymn to expression on the human face. The screening of this 2025 film at Fantasporto is a tribute to Carlos Augusto, the recently deceased director of photography. Luís Moya has already won the Portuguese Cinema Award with “Mia Mia Tamam Tamam” in 2013 and received an International Jury Mention and Audience Award with “Por Detrás da Moeda” in 2020, which was subsequently awarded at the Trujillo Independent Film Festival and the L’Age D’Or International Arthouse Film Festival. “Som da Alma” won the Best Documentary and Best Screenplay awards at the Arouca Film Festival

Verónica muda-se para um novo apartamento após aceitar uma oferta de trabalho. Com a ajuda do seu amigo Carlos, conclui a mudança e tenta ambientar-se ao novo espaço. Verónica começa a ter experiências inexplicáveis e apercebe-se de que há mais um hóspede no apartamento.
