Uma jovem mulher, Sarah, herda a casa da sua infância, após a morte da mãe. Apesar das reparações a fazer na moradia, da relação conturbada com o irmão e da memória de traumas antigos, o regresso àquele lugar é também uma tentativa de um novo começo longe do caos da vida na cidade, marcada por vícios, dívidas e desilusões. O plano parecia perfeito – não fosse uma vizinha psicótica desenvolver uma obsessão profundamente perturbadora por ela. À medida que essa fixação se torna cada vez mais desconfortável e violenta, Sarah vê-se arrastada para um sangrento e pervertido pesadelo de Natal. Realizado por John Valley, este indie slasher, inspirado em clássicos como “Psycho” e “Black Christmas”, mergulha-nos numa espiral de paranóia e loucura que nos relembra do provérbio: antes mau ano que mau vizinho.
A young woman, Sarah, inherits her childhood home following her mother's death. Directed by John Valley, this indie slasher, inspired by classics such as “Psycho” and “Black Christmas”, dives into a spiral of paranoia and madness that reminds us that sometimes it is better not to know everyone on the block.
